During my recent trip to Athens, I had the pleasure of staying at Mosaikon Hostel, and let me tell you, it was an absolute gem! Nestled in the heart of Syntagma, the location couldn't have been better - just a leisurely stroll to Monastiraki and a quick hop to the metro for all my adventures. The rooftop terrace offered stunning views of the Acropolis, which made for a fantastic backdrop while enjoying a drink with friends after a day of exploring. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, making my stay feel personally curated. I also loved my double room, which was equipped with cozy air conditioning and sound-insulated walls - perfect for a restful night after a long day of hiking around the ancient sites. Plus, the cleanliness of the modern bathrooms was a big bonus; nothing beats fresh facilities when you're traveling. I opted for breakfast on my last morning, and I must say it exceeded my expectations! Not your typical hostel fare, it was both delicious and reasonably priced. Mosaikon exceeded my adventure-seeking standards, and I can't wait to return!
